توفير كوادر متخصصة للعمل في مجال التحري عن الجرائم والتحقيقات الجنائية من خلال رفد الطلبة بالمعارف والمهارات الخاصة بمسرح الجريمة والتسجيل الجنائي للحوادث وكيفية اخذ البصمات واستخدام المعدات الخاصة بالتصوير الجنائي واساليب فحص العملات المزورة والمستندات الرسمية واستخدام عدة تدقيق التزوير، فضلا عن معرفة اجهزة التحري عن السموم والمخدرات وكتابة التقارير الخاصة بذلك والالمام بالمعلومات المتعلقة بالمتفجرات وانواعها والعدد المستخدمة لاطفاء الحرائق ومعرفة المبادئ الاولية للاسعافات الاولية وقواعد تطبيقها.
