A voluntary campaign for afforestation at Al-Karkh University of Science

The students of the evening studies at the Faculty of Science at Al-Karkh University of Science organized a voluntary campaign to reforest and maintain the gardens at the university, with the participation of a number of professors, feeling a sense of responsibility towards their university. The campaign included planting trees, cleaning gardens and waterways, raising the bushes and beautifying and watering the outer and internal squares of the university. The students said that their volunteer campaign is a message to society to preserve the environment, combat desertification and global warming, and establish the principles of volunteering among students. It is worth mentioning that the students of Al-Karkh University of Science organize successive volunteer campaigns for afforestation, cleaning, and awareness of some phenomena and topics that concern the individual and society.
