Scientific visit to the neurological hospital

A scientific visit to the students of medical physics second stage was organized at the neurological hospital on Tuesday, 8/1/2019 under the supervision of Dr. Sabah Ibrahim Abbas & Nabaa Mohammed Ali after the completion of the approval of  Technical Director Dr. Ahmed Shawki for the purpose of informing students about the medical equipment in the hospital.

The students were divided into two groups, each of a group held eleven students. The participants of the Department of Radiation and Magnetic Resonance (MRI) presented a detailed explanation to the students for four continuous hours. The operation of the helical screwdriver and the X-ray imaging apparatus used in the diagnostic field.

The lectures were valuable and scientific and the students felt the importance of medical physics in the diagnostic and therapeutic applications in difficult and difficult situations, and students enjoyed the practical side and the importance of the role of medical physics to treat patients.
